Angel Tree Programme
Angel Tree is a Prison Fellowship programme that provides Christmas toys and the gospel to prisoners' children who might otherwise be overlooked during the Christmas season.
Executive Director of Prison Fellowship, Kim Workman says "The doors that lock prisoners in also lock their sons and daughters out... and the hardest time of all is Christmas. Prisoners grieve that they can't provide gifts for their children. Children wish for presents they aren't likely to receive. The season meant for joy turns sour and sad".
Prison Fellowship is being assisted by a number of churches who offer to sponsor prison units and are assisting in purchasing, wrapping and delivering presents. Churches accross the denominational range are involved and each church decides the level of involvement that they are comfortable with.
Donations to the Angel Tree programme can be sent to;
