Introduction Workgroup - Parish Profiles Wanted Urgently
The closing date for receipt of Parish Profiles for consideration in the second round of matching is Friday 15 August 2003. Profiles received for the first round were returned late June.
Two of the four Ordinands who are available for parish placement are having initial conversations with Boards of Nomination which may or may not proceed to Calls.

This issue looks at the issues surrounding war and peace, focusing on Sri Lanka, and examines how we can create sustainable peace.

Iraq and Southern Africa still need our help

Leaflets are available with daily teachings, stories, prayers and actions for use by religious communities everywhere in their own observances and together with people of other faiths. Broadcasting Scholarships
The Churches Broadcasting Commission is offering scholarships for at least four young Christians planning to study Journalism in 2004.
The scholarships will be available through four tertiary institutions which offer reputable broadcasting courses. They will be to the value of about $2000 each.

Senior Achievers Required
Age Concern New Zealand and MASS Healthcare have again combined to bring to New Zealand communities the 2003 Senior Achievers Awards. The awards, a celebration of older volunteering in New Zealand were launched recently in Wellington.
The Awards are open to any New Zealand citizen, over 60, who has made an outstanding contribution to their community.
