Mission Resource Team Co-Director Northern South Island

Based in Christchurch

The Presbyterian Church is seeking to appoint a person to work as part of the Mission Resource Team to resource the Presbyteries of Christchurch, Ashburton, South Canterbury, Nelson/Marlborough and the Westland Uniting Church Council, their congregations and leaders, and the church nationally in building congregational health and developing leadership.

Facilitate regional and local planning for mission

Encourage and resource leaders

Lead in the development of rural mission and ministry

Play a key role in the equipping and resourcing of elders and lay leadership

Give policy advice

We need a person who:

Can inspire and motivate others in developing mission

Will build positive and lasting relationships across diverse perspectives

Thinks and plans strategically

Has knowledge of the Presbyterian Church

Is a skilled facilitator and communicator

Has leadership experience in a Church or Christian organisation

Can work among different cultures

Is computer literate Has project management skills and experience
