On 19-21 September 2003, over 90 Pressie youth leaders and youth workers came together at Lake Whakamaru Christian Camp for Connect 2003.
The theme of the weekend was Youth Ministry as Mission, and it was a time for youth leaders to be CONNECTED, REFUELLED and APPRECIATED…

…Andrew Bell was an inspirational speaker, encouraging people to think beyond themselves, and to build youth ministries that do the same
…We had some awesome worship sessions led by the Clevedon Pressie Worship Team
…’Team Challenge’ outdoor activities on Saturday afternoon were fun, energetic and, um, muddy…
…Burning Bush hoodies were the fashion icon of the weekend
…One word – Karaoke.

What made Connect 2003 so fabulous was all the amazing people who showed up.  Presbyterian Youth Ministry is full of incredible people, and it was exciting to spend a few days talking, laughing and dreaming together.
