We have formal links with numerous global Christian organizations.  The word often used to describe these is ‘ecumenical’ taken from the Greek word 'oikoumene' which means "the whole household" or "the whole inhabited world".

Council for World Mission (CWM)

We are one of 31 member churches that work together in mission as the Council for World Mission. [More]

Christian World Service (CWS)

•  CWS is our official emergency aid, justice and development agency. [More]

•  The Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance is a broad ecumenical network for international cooperation in advocacy on Global Trade and HIV/AIDS. [More]

World Council of Churches (WCC)

• We are a member of the World Council of Churches is the largest fellowship of churches in the world. [More]

• We have made an investment in Okiocredit, a WCC programme which funds micro-enterprise initiatives around the globe. [More]

•Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel[More]

World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC)

We are a member of this family of more than 200 churches which links 75 million Christians in over 100 countries  [More]

The Christian Conference of Asia (CCA)

We are a member of this regional ecumenical organization which unites over 100 churches.[More]

Presbyterian Missionary Fellowship (PMF)

PMF provides prayer and  pastoral support for   New Zealand Presbyterians serving with mission and aid agencies throughout the world.  [More]
