Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel

The Temple Mount, Jerusalem

A peaceful settlement in Israel/Palestine is a vital ingredient to global peace and security.  It is clear that there can be no peace without justice and truth for all.  We encourage all New Zealand Christians and congregations to understand the complexities of the conflict in Israel/Palestine and to promote prayer, biblical reflection and practical response.

Glenn Jetta Barclay

Rev Glenn Jetta Barclay spent five months (November 2003-April 2004) serving as a peace activist in Ramallah under the auspices of the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine Israel (EAPPI).  Glenn is available to speak or provide up-to-date information on the situation in Palestine Israel.  Please contact the GMO if you would like more information.

EAPPI is a mission initiative of the World Council of Churches that seeks to accompany churches in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.  Ecumenical Accompaniers (EA's) work as peacemakers to achieve a just peace in the Middle East.  Check out articles and photos posted by EA's on the EAPPI website...
