Directions: 2003 to 2006A planning statement by the Council of Assembly:
revised annually with a three year horizon Directions 2003 - 2006Directions 2003 provides a focus for the Council of Assembly, Policy Groups and Service Team of the church in being faithful to the tasks entrusted to them by Assembly.
It seeks - to apply in the light of the current context the strategic directions set by Assembly,
- to provide a framework of accountability and direction for those involved in the oversight and operations of the church nationally, and
- to offer leadership to the whole church by providing a framework which may assist presbyteries, congregations and other bodies in the church to plan well for our shared mission.
