The Presbyterian Foundation
The Foundation was established as a Trust Fund by the 1996 General Assembly. Its main purpose is to provide monies for ongoing regional and other mission of the Church.
Information booklets and application forms for assistance with mission projects went to all parishes in March. Please put some thought into how the Presbyterian Foundation could help your parish do something innovative and creative in your community to enhance your mission in the area. Joint projects with other parishes or with the wider community are encouraged. Details of what is likely to be considered favourably are in the booklets. These are available through parish ministers, on the Presbyterian web site or from PO Box 9049 Wellington. All applications must be considered and assessed by the local appropriate presbytery, UDC or UCC and must reach The Presbyterian Foundation at PO Box 9049 by 15 September 2004.
