Senior Chaplain - University of Canterbury
Canterbury Tertiary Education Chaplaincy Committee
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Chaplain at the University of Canterbury. The position is half time (0.5).
The Senior Chaplain, normally an ordained person, is part of a tertiary education ministry team and has oversight for chaplaincy at the University of Canterbury. The ministry is ecumenical, supporting academic freedom, the spirit of inquiry, choice and diversity, and at the same time respectful of the particular heritage of a university. The Committee is open to innovative work practices in order to fulfill the key functions of the position.
Accommodation adjacent to the university is provided. It is desirable that the appointee take up the position at the beginning of August, 2004.
