1.3 One or two of these are for concepts that are still developing. Some of the schemes were relatively small in dollar terms – others were substantial.
1.4 We find our work interesting, and it is very encouraging to see areas of growth and development. During the year, we have distributed copies of the checklist we developed to assist parishes and Presbyteries in the Greater Auckland area, and tabled at the three Auckland Presbyteries. A copy was deposited with the Council of Assembly in case it might be of interest more widely.
1.5 Our thanks go to the Rev. Rose Luxford, Co-Convenor until the end of 2003, when she accepted the position of Moderator of the Auckland Presbytery. Rose had been meticulous in expediting the business of the Group, and kindly giving us the hospitality of her church at Blockhouse Bay. We miss her, but we are encouraged that the Rev. Bonnie Robinson has agreed to replace her. We are indebted now to the directors of the architecture firm of JASMAX for making their professional offices available for our meetings. I would also particularly thank the technical experts who have served on the Group. Their unfailing cheerful help and specialist advice has made our meetings a pleasant experience. The Church has been well-served, and it is good that they are prepared to continue to act.
Richard Colegrove
Convenor
