Appendix E-2: Pulpit Supply Payments

(As amended 1998)

On the understanding that ‘full-time ministry’ equates to 624 units. (see also E-19 5.1 and 5.6)

1) For pulpit supply for one service, the fee payable to ministry student, licentiate or minister shall be 0.52% of basic stipend (full time).

2) For two or more services on the same day, the fee payable shall be 0.7% of basic stipend, unless the additional services are for the same people, whereby the payment shall be 0.1% of basic stipend.

3) Travelling expenses shall be reimbursed as per Assembly scale.

4) Hospitality shall be provided for the person supplying the pulpit.
