Appendix H-2: Edict – Ordination/Induction of Elders/Deacons

(Regulation 69-71. 105)

Since (insert names) have been elected to be elders/deacons in this Congregation, it is hereby intimated that if any members of this Congregation have any objections to offer to the life or doctrine of those named, they will have an opportunity of doing so at a meeting of the Session to be held in (insert place) on (insert date) at (insert time). If no relevant objection be then made and proved, the Session will proceed to the ordination (or, in the case of persons already ordained, the induction) without delay.
