Te Aka Puaho 50th Jubilee celebrations

Hundreds of people gathered at Ohope Marae from 16-20 March to celebrate the 50th Jubilee of Te Aka Puaho, the Maori Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand. A hikoi on the Friday visited historic sites at Waimana and Matahi.

Mr Marquand is shown handing a commemorative plaque to Millie Te Kaawa, the current Moderator of Te Aka Puaho, and then reenacting the handing over of the scroll.
