The Church Register lists additions to, deletions from, and changes in status on the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand Ministerial Roll as advised by Presbytery Clerks as at 1 May 2005.

Please amend the roll in your yearbook accordingly.

Ordinations & Induction:

The Rev Judith Fay Bedford, formerly of Island Bay Presbyterian Church, was inducted as Minister of St James Presbyterian Church, Wanganui, on April 17, 2005.

The Rev Susan Jones, from Minister within the Bounds, was inducted as Minister of Opoho Presbyterian Parish, Dunedin , on February 10, 2005.

The Rev Doris J Elphick, of the Paeroa Co-operating Church, has commenced term as Minister in the Co-operative Venture of Te Aroha Co-operating Church, on February 2, 2005.

The Rev Tau Lasi has commenced term as Minister in the Co-operative Venture of Paeroa Co-operating Church, on February 3, 2005.

The Rev Awatea Dawn Tupe, formerly of Taumaranui Maori Pastorate – Amorangi Minister, was inducted as Secertary/Clerk of Te Aka Puaho, on April 8, 2005.

The Rev Paul Grant, resigned from Methodist, and has commenced as appointee in the Welcome Bay Community Church, on March 2, 2005.

The Rev Andrew Bell, the Global Mission Secretary, was inducted as Minister of St Andrew’s Otahuhu Presbyterian Church, Auckland, on April 21, 2005.

The Rev Anne Mills has commenced term as Minister in the Chartwell Co-operating Parish, Hamilton, on May 1, 2005.

Changes in Status:

The Rev Iona Su’a, resigned as Minister of Pacific Islanders Samoan Presbyterian Church, Invercargill and transferred to South Auckland as Minister within the Bounds, on 6 April 2005 .

The Rev Dr Peter Matheson, will remain as Minister within the Bounds in the Presbytery of Dunedin.

Mr. Poul Anderson, former Lay Appointee of Wyndham Presbyterian Church, transferred to Tokoroa as Lay Appointee of St Mark’s Presbyterian Church, on April 14, 2005 .

The Rev Anthony M Martin, will remain as Minister within the Bounds in the Presbytery of Dunedin.
