Presbyterian success at ARPA awards
The Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand has had its website and magazine recognised at the Australasian Religious Press Association awards.
ARPA, which draws its membership from both denominational and general interest Christian publications from throughout Australia and New Zealand, held its conference earlier this month in Adelaide. ARPA’s annual awards recognise excellence in Christian magazines, newspapers and electronic publications.
The Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand was highly commended in the best website category for www.presbyterian.org.nz. The judges said: “This website has an abundance of great information resources, supported by delightful imagery. Its simple, but elegant design places emphasis on the content of the site.”
We were also highly commended in the most improved magazine category for sPanz, our quarterly magazine. The judges said sPanz was a “quality publication with attention-grabbing cover visuals and quality layout throughout, achieved through removing distracting colours and excessive font changes. Good coverage of current issues, improved consistently of layout and quality journalism.”
