ARCC Conference

ARCC [The Association of Reconciling Christians and Congregations] held its first Annual Conference in Wellington late last year.

ARCC is a group that exists to promote social justice for minorities in the church, and at present their energies are directed towards obtaining fair and equal treatment for sexual minorities. A number of issues were identified and groups are working on strategies to further the cause of justice.

Some highlights were good food, lots of fun, and a closing communion service where the communion table was draped in the colours of the rainbow and the communion seen as a meal break to equip ARCC members in the midst of their work in God's service.
