2008 Papers
The Diploma in Ministry of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand is a 240 credit diploma. Each credit represents approximately 10 learning hours.
The Diploma comprises seven major papers of 15 credits each, a synthesis paper of 15 credits, a number of short intensive seminar papers of a nominal 2 credits each, and ministry internship placements rated at 100 credits.

Before the Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership Director is able to make a recommendation to a presbytery that an ordinand is suitable for licensing, the ordinand must complete the Diploma in Ministry have a satisfactory assessment of their Readiness for Ministry.
Students who have some outstanding requirements in relation to their Readiness for Ministry may still complete their Diploma in Ministry which they would normally receive along with other ordinands concluding their studies.
