Puppeteers Pioneer CD Production

A touch of professionalism will accompany John Knox Church in Rangiora's next CD release. The puppet team "Four Fingers of God" released a Christmas CD last August but future recordings will be produced at a new recording studio.

The church acquired what used to be a refrigerator room of a supermarket located behind the Life Christian Centre. Extensive renovations over recent months have transformed it into a two-room studio where David Reid, son of the manse, and son of puppet team director Lynne, will be mixing and recording morals-based music. David (23) spent six months in Nashville last year interning at Nilsson Media Mission and recording and mixing for a mega-sized church there. His time in the United States made him even more enthusiastic about setting up his own recording studio. On his return a team of ten from John Knox church devoted their time to rehearsals and recording the CD 'Christmas Animals' in a bedroom converted into a makeshift studio.

A date has yet to be set for the official opening to which the Mayor, local church groups and those interested from bands and musical societies in the area will be invited.
