Rev Herbert (Bert) Davies joined the Canton Villages Mission in 1909 as an evangelist. He married Miss Margaret T. Anderson on 29 Sept. 1911 (refer seperate file.)  They were both interned in China from 1941 until 1945 (?) when they were repatriated to New Zealand.
