Glen Innis Ministers' Holiday Home

Glen InnisThanks to the generosity of Martha and Samuel McNutt ordained ministers of the Presbyterian Church are entitled to a weeks free holiday accommodation each year at Glen Innis Station, south of Waipukurau in Hawkes Bay. Two substantial and well maintained houses are available – the original Homestead and the former gardener’s home known as the Cottage. Both are comfortable modern homes with all modern conveniences. The houses are set in park like grounds in a superb rural landscape. An all weather tennis court, swimming pool, games room and billiard room are available for guests use.

During the school holidays preference is given to Ministers with families. Those travelling from the South Island by Ferry are eligible for a subsidy on Ferry fares every second year. Glen Innis was gifted to the Presbyterian Church by Martha and Samuel McNutt in 1959 to provide a comfortable relaxing holiday for both active and retired Ministers and their immediate families. It is managed by Margaret and Graeme Black under the governance of the Church Property Trustees. The Convenor of the Trustees Farm Committee is Brian Milne.
