Long-serving Kids Friendly Coach is moving on

It is with sadness that we have accepted the resignation of Jill Kayser, national Kids Friendly Coach.

Jill has worked tirelessly for the last 14 years, spearheading the Church’s ministry with children, and establishing the Kids Friendly framework on which our ministry is now based.

Along with a team of equally dedicated Kids Friendly regional coaches, Jill has made an outstanding contribution to nurturing the faith and leadership skills of our Church’s children, and to creating an environment where their contribution is valued. Her efforts – along with those of her team – have equipped and resourced congregations to minister more effectively to, and with, their children.

Jill’s expertise as a motivator, leader and passionate advocate for the value of intergenerational engagement within our churches will be missed. We are, of course, sad to see Jill go, and wish her well with her new role as Chaplain at Large in the Auckland CBD (a St James Presbyterian and Aotea Methodist initiative). Jill will finish up as Kids Friendly Coach on 30 November, and we know that she will be as much a blessing to her new role, as she has been to us.
