The Rev Dr Stuart Vogel, Secretary of the Church’s Asian Advisory, has released a media statement on behalf the Church about the food shortage in North Korea. We ask the President of the Republic of Korea, Mr Lee Myung Bak, to resume food aid to the North; and for the governments of New Zealand and the United States of America to make significant food aid available to the DPRK through the United Nations World Food Programme, read it in full here.
