Joan Taylor is Professor of Christian Origins and Second Temple Judaism at King’s College London, and is a leading expert on the world of Jesus, with a focus on history and archaeology. She is also Visiting Research Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington.

Joan has authored numerous books and articles. Her documentary has been shown on the BBC, in Europe, and Australia. She was the historical advisor for the movie ‘Mary Magdalene’, released in 2018.

We are glad to announce a series of presentations at 2 pm on the following Sundays in St Mark’s Wesley Uniting Church, 58 Woburn Rd, Lower Hutt. Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and then refreshments.
