Current, Past & Future Photo Galleries :
Our quarterly Photo Gallery features themed images from our varied collections (link to past galleries below).
- Spring / Summer Gallery 2008-2009 : "Punjab Partners" - This five page gallery commemorates the centenary of the establishment of our Mission work in the Punjab area of North India and a centenary of continuing Christian witness. Since 1953, our work in the Punjab has been under the direction of the Church of North India.
- Autumn Gallery 2009 : "New Zealand at War 1914 - 1918" - To co-incide with ANZAC Day, this gallery will feature a number of (non-combat) images from our collections which portray aspects of New Zealand's involvement in 'The Great War', both in Europe and the Middle East. A selection of interesting artefacts and ephemera in conjunction with extracts from published Church journals will also demonstrate how this catastrophe was both viewed and commemorated by the New Zealand Presbyterian Church and its members.
- Winter Gallery 2009 : "Illuminated Art" - This full colour gallery will feature our collection of beautifull old illuminated addresses and artwork.
- Spring Gallery 2009 : "A Box Camera Visit to the New Hebrides (1)" - Featuring late 19th and early 20th century images of the New Hebrides (now known as Vanuatu), this gallery will feature an interesting selection of images taken by Missionaries on the old glass plate box cameras, focussing primarily on the landscape, the indigenous people, native and missionary styles of housing, shipping and trade, leisure and special occasions.
