I'm pretty keen to have ways in which we can interact - especially on the "Making disciple-making disciples" theme. I'm sure there's lots we can learn from each other.
At the moment I am experimenting somewhat with the website possibilities, so please be patient. What do you think could be done via the web site?
I'm imagining that I might have a blog that contains my news during my term as moderator - the "Mod's Blog" that will just say what I'm up to but won't necessarily be linked to the theme.
As well as that though, I'm thinking about things such as lists of books and other resources dealing with discipleship and disciple-making, evangelism etc and lists of disciple-making resources and course materials. We could then add the comments of those who have used them so that others can gauge how useful, or appropriate for their setting, they are.
It might also be interesting to have a blog that deals with the Bible studies that have been distributed. You might want to disagree with something I have said or something might be obscure. Discussion might bring clarity. Maybe we can discuss how disciple-making can be implemented in our churches and we could find out how churches are going about it already. There could be links to articles or even to your sermons that are about disciple-making, as well as to other useful resources on the www.
I'm keen about the possibilities. Please let me know what you can visualise happening and what would be useful.
I hope things are going well for you in your corner. I'd be keen to hear from you.
God bless,
Peter
