Read the Moderator's Anzac Message

The Rt Rev Richard Dawson, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand, asked the Rev Dr Tony Martin to share some thoughts on Anzac Day. 

Tony was ordained as a minister of the Church in 1982 and served in the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand and the Church of Scotland. He has wide experience in both parish ministry and army chaplaincy. While serving sixteen years in the British Army he served four years with the Parachute Regiment, spent five years on operational tours in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Kosovo and was NATO Senior Chaplain (ARRC) in Germany. He has published training manuals for army chaplains. Tony completed his doctoral studies at Fuller Theological Seminary on crisis, trauma and Christian ministry.
