JOB TITLE: Lower North Island & Upper South Island Camps Facilitator
LOCATION: Wellington
HOURS: Full-time
This new position within the Youth Camps Ministry Team
will play a key role in growing the reach and impact of our camps by building strong relationships and momentum across the Lower North Island and Upper South Island. Key responsibilities include designing and running new outdoor faith-based camps that engage young people; supporting established camping initiatives; developing leaders through one-on-one mentorship; facilitating GATHER camp leadership weekends; and delivering training events in collaboration with other SUNZ ministries.
Beyond programme delivery, this position requires connections to be made and sustained with volunteers, supporters, and the wider community—from camp leaders and prayer partners to those who help with logistics and resources.
Presence in the Wellington office
will include developing resources, maintaining communication with prayer supporters, and assisting with administration such as budgeting and logistics. A commitment to personal spiritual health and growth is central to the role.
