People & Culture Manager

The PCANZ is seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to provide practical people, culture, and compliance support across the National Office and to equip congregations on employment and people-practice matters.

Permanent part-time | 20 hours per week

This hands-on role will help strengthen capability, lift consistency, and support safe, healthy and values-aligned workplaces across the life of the Church.

We are looking for a proactive, people-centred People & Culture professional with previous HR or People & Culture experience, a sound understanding of employment legislation and good employment practice and the ability to provide practical guidance to leaders, staff and churches. The successful applicant will be a strong relationship-builder with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, able to support recruitment, onboarding, employment documentation, policy and compliance work, performance and development processes, and safe, inclusive workplace culture. They will handle confidential information with sensitivity and be comfortable working within PCANZ’s Christian mission, values and polity.
