Thornton-Blair International Travelling Scholar Fund Scholarships are granted for:
Training for service (both lay and ordained) within the PCANZ
or
those in service undertaking further study, and, In the areas of Children and Family Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Social Services Ministry, and, with a preference (but not a requirement) for training or study overseas.
Grants are for a maximum $10,000 in any one year (or up to a maximum of $20,000 for study over two years).
Grants can be used to pay course fees to an institution approved by the Management Committee, conference attendance fees where attendance supports the area of study, international travel costs, course-related costs for essential equipment.
Applications close 30 September 2026, with grants awarded no later than 30 November 2026.
