The World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) invites applications for the position of Administrator for the Secretariat (d/m/w), to begin on 1 April 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
As a church corporation under public law in Germany, the WCRC brings together Reformed, Presbyterian, Congregational, Waldensian, United, and Uniting churches worldwide. From its office in Hannover, the WCRC coordinates global initiatives in justice and advocacy, renewal of church life, mission, theology, and ecumenical and interreligious dialogue.
The Administrator will play a key role in strengthening the Secretariat’s operations and supporting the Office of the General Secretary. Reporting directly to the General Secretary and working closely with a multinational team, the Administrator will coordinate event management and administrative systems across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate event management and administrative systems within the Secretariat
- Implement and optimize office management tools
- Develop and coordinate IT systems and support (including project, database, financial, and document management systems)
- Oversee human resources management and building management
- Support the Office of the General Secretariat in its day-to-day operations
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have:
- A degree (FH-Diplom or Bachelor) in administration, business administration, economics, qualification for higher non-technical administrative service, or a comparable recognized qualification (including those acquired abroad)
- At least three years of relevant professional experience in administration
- Advanced user skills in project and event management and other IT-based systems
- Willingness to travel occasionally (for one or several days)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and systematically
- Enjoyment in working in an international team
- Openness to constructive feedback in an open and friendly manner
- Empathy with Christian values grounded in the Protestant tradition and commitment to the mission and goals of the WCRC
- German and English language proficiency (minimum level B2) are required.
