The National Church Leaders group, of which our Moderator is part, has organised a discussion paper on our bicultural journey as a Church. Parishes are invited to submit comments before 31 July 2014.
Neighbours Day is this weekend
Neighbours Day is this weekend 29 and 30 March. Parishes are working with Presbyterian Support to get involved in Neighbours Day and support those in need in their neighbourhoods.
PressGo invites applications for Catalyst role
PressGo is inviting applications from those interested in applying for the newly-created Catalyst role, which will be responsible for providing capacity building resources to presbyteries and congregations throughout the Church. The role is full-time for a fixed term of three years.

Te Aka Puaho Moderator in the news
The Rev Wayne Te Kaawa, Moderator of Te Aka Puaho, has recently been in the news commenting on how the Presbyterian Church influenced Maori in Aotearoa and vice versa: interviews include Shine TV and Radio Rhema, Waitangi, 6 Feb; and Radio Waatea, 3 March - you can listen to the podcast here. Wayne was the main speaker at a powhiri at Auckland University last week for new students; this was covered by Maori Television.

This Children's Day (Sun, 2 March), the Church is celebrating a decade of inspirational leadership by Kids Friendly's Jill Kayser.
Would you like a free place at the Just Church conference?
The Church has six free places for Presbyterian church-goers to attend the World Vision Just Church conference, 20 to 22 March at the Manukau City Baptist Church. Registration is free; you would need to cover your own travel and accommodation. If you are interested please email angela@presbyterian.org.nz with your name and the church you attend by 12pm Wednesday 5 March. If more than six people wish to attend names will be drawn.
