Ecumenical steps towards the peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsula
Realising a peaceful reunification of Korea would not only be a gift for the Korean people but also for the people of Asia and the world as a whole. WCRC urges churches to audit to reduce carbon footprint

National Day of Prayer - Saturday 30 April 2011
At a recent meeting of national Church Leaders it was agreed that we would encourage our churches to be open on Saturday 30 April so that throughout New Zealand members of our church communities, and the community at large, could take the opportunity to pray for the peoples of the Pacific Rim following the recent disasters in Haiti, Japan, Queensland, Greymouth and Christchurch.
Special Offering for the churches of Christchurch
For the next several months some Presbyterian and Uniting congregations in Christchurch will be unable to meet due to the ongoing affects of the earthquake, including families being relocated for a time, extensive damage to church buildings and to surrounding roads, workplaces closing due to damage, and ongoing disruption to power and water supplies
