Congratulations to Spanz writer Jade Reidy who scooped up a Gold Award at the Australasian Religious Press Association awards held in Christchurch last week.

The Theology of Property and Money Sharing Resources Task Group, has developed a draft Theology of Property and Money and is inviting feedback from the wider Church on the document.

It is with sadness that I advise of the death of the Very Rev Andrew Norton in Auckland on Monday 9 September.

Andrew trained at the Theological Hall between 1981-83.

After the success of Presbyterian Youth Ministry's (PYM) inaugural Key leaders Retreat in 2018, PYM are delighted to announce that the Retreat is back in 2019, and it's one day longer this year!

The World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel is being marked 15-22 September.

Thanks to the generosity of the late James McNutt, ordained ministers of the Presbyterian Church are entitled to a week's free holiday accommodation each year at Glen Innis Station, south east of Waipukurau in Hawkes Bay.

Earlier this year the Council of Assembly set up a Task Group to establish the key values and polity of theological education and leadership training across the entire Presbyterian Church and to map a new direction.
