Matthew Fox giving lectures in Auckland in early July

Between 4-7 July, Matthew Fox, who is a spiritual theologian, Episcopal priest and activist for gender justice and eco-justice, will be giving four lectures in Auckland. Matthew will be speaking on: “Creation Spirituality: Reawakening Mysticism, Protecting Mother Earth”.

New Director for Presbyterian Church Schools Resource Office

Friday 21 June 2019

The Rev Stephanie Wells has been appointed Director of the Presbyterian Church Schools Resource Office and will commence work on 22 July 2019 in a 0.5FTE capacity. She is currently full-time minister at Kaiapoi Cooperating (Methodist/Presbyterian) just north of Christchurch.

Refugee Sunday resources are now available

CWS invites Presbyterian and Uniting parishes to mark Refugee Sunday on 23 June (Presbyterian and Methodist) or 7 July (Anglican). World Refugee Day is on 20 June.

This year, Refugee Sunday highlights the plight of refugees from Syria, some of whom were already Palestinian refugees.
