Council News November 2018
Council of Assembly met for the first time since General Assembly 2018 on 15-16 November 2018. We were the guests of the Synod of Otago and Southland and, as part of the gathering, we were updated on some work streams of the Synod. We thank them for the opportunity to meet in Dunedin.

Presbyterian Deaconesses who served NZ’s poor and vulnerable recognised by UNESCO
The UNESCO Memory of the World New Zealand Trust announced today that the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand Deaconess Collection has been awarded prestigious documentary heritage status.
The Collection is located at the Church’s Presbyterian Research Centre in Dunedin.

At its most recent meeting, the Council of Assembly approved the minutes from the 2018 General Assembly, which was held in Christchurch from 3-7 October.
