Ponui Fishing Camp 2024

- School Year 9 -13 in 2024, Boys only
- $240 (includes barge trip to Island and return)
Weather and tides permitting, we’ll be enjoying various types of sustainable fishing over the week including; boat, land based (beach and point), barge fishing off the Pōnui cattle barge, long lining in the bay and kayak fishing. We’ll be running a number of optional fishing, sporting & life skills master classes led by members of the team, teaching various aspects of fishing and other life/sporting skills. You’ll have the chance as part of this to learn how to fillet and cook your own fish properly and we’ll even have a smoker on hand to use as well. We will have all the fishing gear we need for camp, but if you’d like to bring your own fishing rods and tackle with you, then feel free to do so as it’s always helpful to have a few spares.
