Council of Assembly

The Council of Assembly has responsibility for advancing the policy of the Assembly and setting the Church’s strategic direction.

The Council sits under the General Assembly and coordinates policy development, which is implemented in association with its subcommittees: Resource and Leadership.

Members of the Council of Assembly are selected by the Nominating Committee

After each of its quarterly meetings, the Council produces a Council News bulletin summarising the issues discussed and decisions taken.
