Let us stop for a moment
And in our stillness give praise to God
Who looked at the new creation and said |
"It is very good"
Let us worship God.

Just as the body is made up of many parts,
So we gather from different backgrounds,
Different people with different talents and gifts,
To worship God and give thanks for each other.
Call 3
Leader: Everyone who serves God come and offer thanks.
People: Thank you God for your love to me
Leader: Everyone who has gathered in this place, lift your hands and praise God
People: Thank you God for your love in this place
Leader: Shout praises to God for you are God's servants, so shout praises.
People: Thank you God for your love to others
Leader: All who serve in this place, who serve our God, come and shout praises.
People: Thank you God for your love that we can share
Leader: Praise the name of our God who is kind and good.
People: Thank you God for your love endures forever.

Matthew 11:28-30 (CEV)
If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest. Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me.
I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. This yoke is easy to bear, and this burden is light.
Christ calls us to come to worship
To rest from the things that are troubling us
To learn what Christ can teach of life
To realise what we can offer to others
And so to return into the world to serve
Let us worship God
Call 5
In the beginning God created all things declaring them to be good.
When God created women and men they were given the charge of all creation.
As God's days of creation ceased ours began.
The God given gifts are to be used to continue God's creative work.
In worship we come to give thanks and to share in this task.
