Autumn 2015

The autumn edition of Spanz magazine explores how Presbyterian youth are sharing random acts of kindness, serving others as part of their student curriculum and making a difference through a variety of internships. We learn how a youth music festival is going strong after 14 years. We find out how an inspiring Presbyterian is making a difference for south Auckland kids. We share how an Asian women’s lunch is building friendships. We rejoice with an Auckland church that won the right to remove an old building and build a new one. We discover what life is like for a hospital chaplain. We welcome church volunteers to Vanuatu. We share what the Very Rev Ray Coster discovered during his travels as Moderator. We learn about the Presbyterian Women and the Methodist Women’s Fellowship Special Project. We meet the new Master of Knox College Dunedin, the new coordinator for the Rice Bowl Mission, and the director of CWM funded centre for Pacific Island theology. We find out about big changes to Charities Act and Financial Reporting Standards. Plus many more stories from throughout our Church.
